that doesn't even make sense. i just specifically told you why i called them "faggots": for something they CHOSE to do, for a behaviour they actively engaged in. that's very different from calling someone a name for something they have NO choice in, for something they were born with (sexual preference, skin colour, disability...), an important distinction i thought you were able to make.

so no, that's NOT "essentially what [i'm] doing", don't let the butthurt idiots of this forum confuse you. if you still need a safe space because you can't handle the word itself just switch off your PC, TV and radio and you should be fine...

I think the issue is that you are associating the stereotypical negative traits of a homosexual to these players. Even if it's unintentional, technically you are indirectly implying that the diving, card waving and "wimp behaviour" you mention is something homosexuals do, or at least that it's a behaviour that is more fitting to them than on the rest of the world.

I don't think it's the same thing as calling black people niggers, as Edgard says, I think it's more like calling the people who exhibit the behaviour that biggots say belong to the black stereotype (lazyness, thieving, lack of education, etc) niggers, regardless of their race.

Idk, maybe it's different in Germany, I mean, I honestly couldn't be less offended, it's just such a dated term. I did away with that word a long time ago. Here in the states it's viewed extremely negatively and is associated with people of the intelligence of chelsea11.
