Pretty easy rule of thumb with any TV show. Do you enjoy it? If you answered yes, then keep watching it. If you answered no, then fuck off and find something different.

I thought it was pretty good, it definitely picks up, but I was into it by episode 6. Your call, but I would stick it out, it's got really interesting concepts

The first like 10 episodes or so are just rehashing from the previous series before it diverged. Once the new stuff comes up it gets better.
