You can get 2.5 to 3.5 adapters on amazon for about 6 bucks. Just got one to use my turtle beach headset with the xbone controller.

Not sure if that's what you need it for.

go to wal-mart buy a new one. clean yours up and put it in the box and take it back and get your money back and WALLAH!
