The reality is that barely anyone plays classic anymore, sadly recently there was another exodus and non-ladder feels very empty.
Maybe you will have more luck when ladder ends, or when people come back to the game.
IMHO you wont profit from those items as you think, so you should rather sell to the first seller that allows you to at least get rid of the items and get forum gold instead. I think the times when having items was better than having forum gold are ending, since quite a few people want to sell those expensive items, but there is no one to buy.
In the past there was zero market for the "medium" items, since no one really bought them, not it seems no one really wants to buy perfect gear. Those who still play probably have everything, those who leave try to offload their items on the market too. But no one is buying any more.
Also your crappy trading practices (I asked you for a valuation of some medium ornate and you never replied), probably won't work in the current dying market: if you are unwilling to provide prices, I dont think you will be able to squeeze forum gold out of anyone.
People have written often that the game is dying, but now it really feels dead: 0-1 open games on non ladder and no public CS. Emptiest Europe NL I have ever seen. I also havent seen much duel games on the weekends
