voted no because this has been denied countless times already if you search for it

you can very easily just track the topics repeatedly vs 3 months if they are that important to keep. (you can do them all at the same time - is what I do every time mine reach ~ 1 month left or less)

No.
3 months is plenty of time for tracked topics, and it doesn't take much effort to re-track a topic (just a few clicks).
If you are having trouble remembering to go back and re-track the topic then it probably wasn't that important to you anyways.

Yes. I'm just unsure if this could negatively effect the website, say if somebody has a few topics tracked permanently but then quits coming to the website. Will this effect the site load or something? Not sure; but I'd imagine if it does there could be a way to have it untrack if a user hasn't logged in for a certain amount of time.

I'm voting yes. Frequenting subforums outside of trading, this would be useful.

This logic shouldn't be used when reading site suggestions. Just because something is a minor, unneeded improvement, does not mean that it shouldn't be considered. Can you think of anything negative that this suggestion would add, or can you only think of why it isn't a necessity?
