So that 8-Bit Song from the Danganronpa 2 game was Chiaki's doing to try and bug out the VR.
I also wonder if Izuru was the one who got Chiaki's brain to the VR

they did appear though

the gangster, the mechanic and the foreigner girl that could get out of the game were either mentioned or shown as ultimate despairs too

They were mentioned but did not have any real appearances.

Isn't AI Chiaki after this arc though? This arc is real life, which is before the first Danganronpa anime.
