I've heard 'naruto' has some very deep and intricate plotlines only understood by the more mature&intelligent audience

maybe you should say the genre you want rather than the one you don't, slice of life/loli comedy/hentai?

Is shounen a genre?
I do like some shounen, Some of my favourite shows are shounen.

I'm just in the mood for something different, I guess I'm asking for good seinen.
