Then most of the adolescent years, women make up most of the caregiver's and educators in a child's life. There needs to be active commitment from fathers /family and a greater focus on having male role models involved in early childhood especially during that critical time when the brain is being wired. (ideally both parents)
I wouldnt say fathers on avg are better than mothers on avg in terms of the outcomes noted below (despite the numbers), until recently perhaps the timeline that these longer term studies comprise, it was somewhat anomalous for men to gain custody of the kids, so they had to fight for it and show stability to get it which skews the societal outcome metrics of below. This is similar to how gay adoptions yield better parenting societal stats than hetero's. ( and 2h botd >grief for a ww barb in pvm despite the paper figures)
that 70% of black children are thrown into this pool undoubtedly explains some of the 5X higher violent crime rate over whites, and even more so over asian households.
