Dunno if you'll see this, but do you only work with Democrats? Do consulting firms typically only work for one side of aisle?
I only have Democratic clients now, yes. Most firms do work that way now, exclusively geared towards one party or the other. That's mainly because of polarization but also some other factors like specialization in the field; whether your firm develops ads, conducts polling, does research, manages and builds lists, whatever the case, the candidates/committees/parties doing the hiring want to know that you have experience (and success) doing things in the past that are similar to what they're thinking about hiring you to do, and the easiest way to build your profile is to do something over and over and over again.

Trump isn't paying polling companies
Actually he is, and amusingly he's got about a half-dozen of them. Most of them are either crap or are fulfilling a stupid purpose too, such as the worst pollster in the country (McLaughlin) being brought on to conduct New York polling. Trump's primary pollster is Tony Fabrizio, a well-known Republican pollster based out of Florida, and his current campaign manager was actually brought on originally as a pollster as well; she just managed to fail upward because both of her predecessors were fired, and she's connected to the powerful Mercer family who is basically bankrolling the Trump operation. Trump also has a Christie pollster and a Texas-based pollster.
Free advice: don't say something unless you actually know if it's accurate or not.
