I've created my first "season" character, I don't have the expansion, and am playing as a DH. Which class is the best to just play and farm stuff with? Also, what is the fastest way to get from 1-whatever the level cap is (I think I read 70 somewhere?)

Does anyone do rushes or anything? I'm short on FG but would like to know the information requested above.

Act 5, level cap increased to 70, adventure mode, bounties, rifts, new legs, kanai cube (much like horadric cube from d2).

If you don't have the exp at this point, you're missing out on 90% of the endgame content.
