Ya that's why he wants to sell me the 347. I think I'm just going to rebuild my 302 and add a few goodies. It has plenty of power for me as it is now, I'm afraid if I add too much hp shit is going to get twisted. Being the convertible, you can feel it when you come out of the hole hard.

Got the stang out today. I washed it up and ran to the beer store. When I came out 4 guys were walking around it asking me questions and shit. They were surprised it was 30 years old and all original still here in Michigan. Feels good.jpeg

The guy I got it from only put about 1,000 miles a year on it and he owned it for 22 years. He has generally between 6-10 cars and he drives them all sparingly. He only lives about 3 miles from town and that's about the only place he goes regularly. He has a 69 Dart I have been trying to talk him out of too. It needs a paint job an a little tlc but all the chrome is on it and in good shape. He's been prepping it for paint for like 3 years...lol He told me he wanted between 5 and 6 k for it, but when he gets hard up I'll get it for around 4k I think or maybe a little less, cash is king and money talks when he is broke. So all I have to do is wait until he loses his ass at the casino and be ready to pony up the cash.

Thanks. Ya, I have to do a bunch of body work before I get it painted nice. That paint job was just me getting it one color on a spray can budget. Hopefully I can get to hooking it up by June or July.

Really looking forward to seeing you get her going man I've always wanted one but here gettng one original is hard mostly been spare part cars or someone's wrecked dragster

Well after I did my taxes I owe in almost 8k so this will be on the back burner this year unless I come into a couple lucrative jobs this summer.
