Wolves sign Brandon Rush to 1 year 3.5m deal

Don't know anything about him, any warriors fans have input on him? Is he just another bench filler?

yo BRush is my dude. If it puts it in perspective, we were better during the regular season when HB sprained his ankle and BRush was our starting SF instead of him. We were better when BRush was in instead of HB during the finals too. I'm not saying Brandon Rush is a more talented version of HB with less athleticism and natural gifts, but he basically is. This is a great signing if he can play like he did with us.

I don't think so wither, but his contract doesn't look as absurd this year like it did before

Very true. By Lakers standards, he's underpaid

So much depth at PF/C. Think we will try trading Gorgui at this point?

I would not trade Gorgui at this point just to trade him, he has value

id trade Pek for virtually anything, problem is no one wants him

Yeah, I'm not saying he doesn't have value. This is the last year of his contract. Do you think we're going to want to give him 15-20m a year long term after this year?

I'm just saying, because he has value and we have depth at PF/C, it may be worth it to trade him.

I'm afraid we aren't set at PF right now, if Dieng continues to get better and better as he has, I'd rather keep him, even if it's 15-17 mil a year. I want to see what this upcoming year turns out to be. We have enough talent right now that we aren't desperate to trade Dieng or Shabazz

I completely agree with all except giving him that much money. A long term deal, say 5year/90mil would eat up a lot of cap space when we need to pay wiggins, lavine, and KAT. Gorgui isn't athletic enough, in my opinion, to play power forward on a championship team. I absolutely love his scoring and keeping him at PF is fine for now (especially with his value contract). But I think he's a true center and, re-emphasizing the coming contracts we'll have, we need that money. If we can get him for 13-15m a year I would be more apt to keep him.

All said, luckily I'm not the GM, because I know shit all!:D

I do agree , love Dieng as a role/bench player but he will probably be overpaid, and I don't wanna risk any money that's going to our core 3. I was just thinking about what Noah got (Dieng is better then him) but that's the lolknicks .

E: if we can unload Rubio and Pek (13 and 11 a year) it would be a lot easier to figure a deal out

Gotta think the Sixers and Twolves link up for a trade

I think I saw you (Towns) say something about a Rubio + picks package to get Okafor.

Would be interesting for sure.

There was, wolves have been adamant about not including LaVine or Dunn in any deal , even though the sixers have interest in Rubio.

I still hope they get a deal done
