That article doesn't say anything about lack of sales contributing to them not working on SO2.

Its probably a safe bet to assume every developer wants there game on every platform. But it doesn't work out that way from a business or technical point of view.

Sony owns spidey, so seeing it as a ps exclusive is a no brainer here.

SO2 isn't being developed right now but easily could in the future.

This article has literally nothing to do with Xbox. Sony is publishing Spider Man and their agreement would be with Marvel not Insomniac. Insomniac was essentially given the contract for making the game by Marvel and Marvel signed off on Sony publishing it. And the news about Sunset Overdrive is not really news. They are working on a big Spider Man game,therefore they aren't currently working on Sunset Overdrive 2. Doesn't mean they wont,and it clearly sounds like they want to so its basically up to Microsoft if they wanna greenlight another project.
