That being said, the game is pretty much dead - so no.

It's not really dead, just the s5 community died out. Sword community still big, the PENonly SO community is still up and running
-> s5 community dying out is as if hc classic non ladder on asia3 in d2 would die, not really relevant to playerbase.

game has hit peaks actually.
Don't forget the LatinAmerican Server which has a big s5 community and parallel other communities that are big (scl,sca)
I have never played EUs4 actually, except for tournaments, I've been mostly on krs4
but there's also S4SEA and Filipino now, which are pretty active.
