Right? One thing I'm still curious about is the ???% that he did earlier in the show, and if that will show up again.
I really hope this show gets another season , or even two. Its not perfect, but I enjoy the action scenes. They're just so.. different.

yeah hopefully, it seems to come out past his 100% when he's unconscious, also happened protecting his brother in the past and after beard guys sprays him before running away I think
some kind of powerful malicious entity possessing him

Yea One Punch Man, and Mob Psycho 100 aren't really similar, but the way the art style is, and the humor, It feels similar enough to me.

If you liked the others mentioned i'd check them out at some point, most are personal favorites (other than boku no hero! but it's still good), ranking them irrespective of similarity:
