didnt know about the conc as i never read the skill in a few years, only knew it was the to-go-to skill for pala because it has the highest damage output but what you said made alot of sense wastheart, thanks for clearing that up

nobody here has an opinion on the prices atm or is too lazy to post
so i start this with my opinion -> pls correct me if i'm way off base

Base
the best base is a grimshield, however a bone with high ed (60def with 100ed) has almost the same def as a grim without ed
its mainly because the def of a grim varies 50-151 if no ed mod is applied
other bases are viable too (str req is important here -> aim for max 60str req) but usually the bone/grim style is prefered

Affixes (every rare item has max 3 Prefixes and max 3 Suffixes)
prefered Prefixes for a pala shield are
1) 2+pala
2) 17-20@res
3) 100%ed
4) 7-12 damage goes to mana (DGTM) -> blue color (only viable if it replaces the ed mod)
useful Suffixes for a pala shield are
1) 9+str
2) 4-5 life rep
3) damage reduced by 4
4) magic damage reduced by 3
5) 17%fhr
6) poison length reduced by 75% -> red color
7) -20/-30 req (not really important because palas use mageplates with 55str req and a grim has 58str req)

Style
usually pala shields are green because the 2+pala overwrites the prismatic purple color -> this is not a must, so purple shields with 2+ exist
however it is possible to find blue/dark/red/orange/nana shields
blue -> 7-12 DGTM
dark -> +65%ed
red -> poison length reduced by 75%
orange -> attacker takes damage 4-6
nana -> 3+light radius
-> some ppl pay extra fgs for a shield with a prefered style (even if the DGTM mod takes the place of the ed mod)

Prices (all shields have at least the two Affixes 2+ and 17-20@res)
0) purple bone/grim -> ~0fg (this style looks so damn bad with holy shield)
1) bone/grim with low def -> ~50-100fg
2) grim with 150+def -> ~100-150fg
3) grim with 200+def -> ~150-250fg
4) grim with 280+def -> ~250-350fg
5) grim with 280+def and a specific color and/or nice Suffixes -> ~350-500fg

6) other bases -> ~20-50fgs
7) other bases with really nice stats -> ~a bit more

personally i didnt see any pala shield go over 500fgs
the listed prices are my personal opinion (mainly from last ladder)
