However what you posted does explain why there are still shooting where guns are allowed, because they don't care about dieing in the process.

Except taking guns away from people isn't a good thing because it limits their self-defense as well. The better option, if you really wanted a sort of level of control, would be to spend the money it takes to screen people before they are allowed to buy weapons.
This will def cause another sort of discrimination in the States though, especially the south.
