I usually go and play five times a week. I've been playing for about four years now but i dont consider myself that good. I go out and usually shoot par. Here in mississippi its a big hobby and we are fortunate enough to have several courses. I usually just carry a driver and a mid range. Currently rocking a boss driver and some mid range i found in a tree.

If anyone has any tips or can help other people find the right disk post it here. Disk golf is awesome.

What constitutes the difference between drivers/mid range/etc, size and weight?

All disks have certain things that are different. Speed glide fade and turn. The most influential part is still how you throw it but having the right disk for each situation helps elevate your level of play significantly. I usually only bring two disks because its a hassle carrying a disk bag plus itst hotter than hell in mississippi.

Guards,
I hate that you spelled "disk" wrong in every instance. That being said I will be partaking in some disc golf today.
my favorite/first disc: champion Valkyrie. I now have 40-50 discs, but my bag has about 12-15 that I uses regularly.

There are also different types of plastic that discs are made of. This helps determine how they fly, and how they feel in your hands.

EDIT: I prefer champion plastic, but through a few star plastics. This matters more for drivers IMO, as many mid ranges are similar.

I usually only take 3 discs with me when I go. I usually go 3-4 times a week.

Currently I use a 175g Gstar Dominator for my longer drives. New disc I picked up cause I had lost my Star Valk that day. Dominator is nice disc.

Backup driver for shorter holes that I need to finesse I use a 175 Gstar Valk. Not really a big fan of Gstar plastic but it does the trick.

Putter I currently use is a Disc Mania Psycho P2. Probably my favorite putter ever.

We have a lot of courses where I am and I do every hole as a par three no matter what the distance. Best I ever shot this year was -14 on a 18 hole course.

My average for that course is like -6 or -7 so I did really good that day I hit -14.

Yea, every hole is always par three, regardless of course. Best I've shot on the bottom course here is +3, and par on top course.
