Alright, my roommate had a ps3 and I only used it to watch Netflix on and blue rays.
So would he have had the Playstation subscription in order to watch Netflix or was the Playstation just hooked up thru our wifi.
Like if I go buy a Playstation do I need monthly subscriptions to playstation network to watch Netflix? (I know I need a netflix account for sure)
Also does the same go for Xbox?? Could I watch Netflix thru that via our wifi? Or do I need a monthly subscription.
Also what is the oldest models of both Playstation and Xbox that has the blueray players in them. I'm guessing ps3 and Xbox 360 both are blueray players?

Orr should I just go buy a blueray player and watch Netflix via the smart TV

For X-box you would need at least a silver membership and wi-fi.

PS3 would be entirely free as far as I know.
