i'm a tad worried about the manga as it is, why are they making an anime?

hopefully its not just the 3 movies scretched out in 24-26 episodes..


does anybody know where this continues?
is it following the manga?

you understand the movies are already basically a summary of the first anime back in '97.

it's confirmed it's a sequel to the Golden Age arc (aka the 3 movies)



The 3 movies are even on Steam too. lol

HYPE! First Episode should air on 01. July 2016, but i don't know if world wide or only japan.

So episode 1 was pretty good.

The choice of music is absolutely amazing.
The animation of the sword was pretty sick, the sound effect too. Really sounds like a slab of metal.
The mix of 3d + 2d feels a bit off tho. I'd hope they use less 3d.
The story...well it's berserk. Obviously it's gonna be epic.
