thats why she agreed to 4 debates instead of the proposed 6, or previous normal of 15
and now she's simply backed out of that agreement because the campaign knows the more they keep her out of the public eye the better at this point.

she's already won the general election, we're just waiting on swearing her in. Debates aren't meant to be optional, something you can just brush aside if its not politically favorable, but thats where we've headed. Hillary knew she had more to lose than to gain by debates in the first place, hence scaling back to a pathetic number and scheduling them at the worst possible times. But canceling outright is a new one.
