Would the dev rather have more game sales
Or have more brand awareness, not through game sales but though supplements. and for argument sake we don't know which makes more money.

I would love for there be more actual topics of discussion in this sub but ysobad is literally the most active poster.

I thought I pretty clearly stated the answer to this. If we are talking about the DEVELOPER then yes,they care more about the sales of the video game as their sole job is to make the video game. the PUBLISHER/OWNER of the IP,cares most about making money,point blank period. Hopefully that spells it out for even your brain to figure it out. If the owner of an IP only cared about sales of their video game,they wouldn't expand their brand into other forms of entertainment. Do you think Sony put out a Ratchet and Clank movie just for the hell of it to waste money,or do you think they made a movie to expand their brand and make more money. I know its difficult to understand simple business,but im sure one day you will figure it out.

Alright, to bad Halo couldn't be better game. But at least it's Monopoly game is on point.

You say this is a "Debate" yet you have zero points other then "lol game is bad". I do not work for Microsoft of Sony so I do not know how much money Halo brings in versus Uncharted. The entire point was that they care about money most,not sales. Sales is obviously apart of money,but at the end of the day all they give a shit about is revenue. I swear its like talking with a chimp
