A friend took a bunch of photos and then gave them to me... but they are all in CR2 files.

How can I view them?

Ideally I want to convert them to a more usable format for me.

I got a lot of files, like 600 (14 GB) so I can't forsee me using an online uploader, would take forever

Thanks!

I'll look into once I get home. Any others? Or vouches for this program?

It is made by microsoft, it's just a codec so you can view the files in the normal image viewer..

But what about converting them so I can send them out to get printed or upload a few to facebook?

Lightroom is the best bet.
From Adobe. May have to do a trial or acquire a version online

Something like this below may work as well but idk
