The only info on Season 3 came from a quote when they announced the mobile game back in October.
that basically said Season 3 was set for 2016. (said by funimation prez/CEO)
also likely not a Reboot/remake.

also things change over the course of a year (well 7months) so shit could have easily been dropped.
the Mobile game which was also set for 2016 release still hasn't come out either.


Season 2 imo turned out better than expected than how the manga rolled and ended, either way both were pretty garbage.




Horror/gory series are slim pickings these days.


Actually just today it's been confirmed that funimation pushed it to at least 2017

literally nothing backing that statement up.

if it was delayed (that is if it was even started yet)
there would be news posts on such an announcement not only on FUNimation's site but also on ANN and other trusted anime news sites. (i checked and nothing, took 5mins)

i seen a random site mention a delay.
but reading the article it was sorely lacking in a lot.
was just standard BS with not even a quote/source of this so called info.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's all smoke and mirrors at this point.

The studio fucked up season 1 with that ending. I'm not sure why they didn't just wait a year for season 2.

Last good bloody horror i can still remember was Another. (and a very disappointing Pupa which could have been good if it was a full series & a diff studio)

well Higurashi was highschool kids too and that's still highly praised as a great horror series.

i would say it's not better than Higurashi but it's pretty good.
