From what I'm reading there is no real response yet. There are many explanations for deviations in flight aside from terrorism. If there was something mechanically wrong I'd imagine some maneuvers would be taken prior to going down. It makes sense Cairo would initially jump to terrorism so they don't seem responsible for the loss of life. NOT saying terrorism wasn't involved.

You know stories like this make me appreciate what DHS does as far as border and airline protection. Just another reason we need to get TSA's house in order. Couldn't hurt to hire a few more air marshals too.
