Btw Bologna is worth a visit?

if you are planning to visit bologna, i suggest you to spend 30 minutes more in train and come to florence...(1h 45min from Milan).

What do you mean?
Venice is the obvious choice for turism in the north.
After that comes Verona. You can see the most of it in one day, all in two. Then, I'd pick one between Milan and Turin (both cities have good and crap places, maybe Milan is better - also it's definitely closer).
If you are going to go to Verona, then you should visit Lake Garda (western side > eastern side, but both are lovely).
