Honestly the 24-70 is on my camera 75% of the time.

I'm not the biggest fan of the lens but it does the job. I just wanna replace it with the 35mm and 50mm art series lenses

Yeah i shoot with the ART primes. Pretty much 35 and 50 are on my camera 95% of the time.

My only zoom is a 70-200 but that rarely gets touched unless I need some big compression.

Yeah the art series seem great. I normally stick with canon glass but I'm wanting to give those a whirl. I think I'm gonna sell off my 16-35 and my 24-70 honestly If I can get a good price for them

Yeah do it. They're sharp as hell and built like tanks.

If you're a f1.4 - f2 bokeh whore it's probably not for you but I rarely shoot under f4 so they're cool with me.

I can't stand the limitations of primes, and all I have in the normal range is primes. They were what I could afford for my D750.

Couldn't agree more with the feet being your zoom. But honestly anything outside of weddings and sports games I really don't see any limitations by prime lenses. The quality is unparalleled for anything close to the money

No, the limitations are how long it takes to take the damn thing off the camera and put on another prime. It's annoying. :(

I wouldn't own a D750 and primes if I didn't know how to use my feet. o.O

I mean I've used 135 mm as a walking around lens. I guess it's all about perspective. Normally if I put on a lands it's to get certain shots and then I'm done after that. I also have a little belt that holds lens cases so it's like 5 seconds to change lenses xD

Here's a good question that has no right answer: Should I pick up the Tokina 24-70 f2.8 lens? It came out late last year. Its performance is impressive, and it's cheaper than the competition.

At $999 USD from B&H (why can't it be $899??? why does Canon mount get it cheaper!), it's not bad. The Canadian exchange rate is 1 USD to 0.78 CAD. Really terrible. But the forecasted exchange rate is going to reach 60 cents... which is scary. I've had my D750 for a year now, and I've been compromising with my primes.

No gear that I really want to resell to offset the cost. :/ I don't use my SB-700 flash, that could be $200 or so. My 85mm 1.8G could offset $400 or more, but I don't want to resell it even though I'd be unlikely to use it if I had a 24-70 f2.8.
