Chapter 1
“Try to remember...”
Whispers a youthful voice, and as soon as it's spoken, you hear the sound of rainfall.

Emotions ripple around your body, and your eyes open.

There is a great torrent over endless, dampened fields, from grey, whizzing in the sky. Your eyes flicker, and in that frame, a woman of short, black hair, appears a reach away.

She is dressed in white, wet clothes, with a hood pulled over her head. Her countenance is stricken, but she has an aura about her that speaks of faith.

All of a sudden, she's in panic as she notices you; falling backward and crawling away. Her fiery, hazel eyes, are fixed on your own.

Her focus leaves yours for a second as she recollects memories that have her lost in thought.

Freckles on her thin, straight nose look like a starry night, and like the moon, her white skin looms in the background.

Her eyes open again, and close – she looks to have sight on a dream.

A moment later, she snaps into focus, but this time her eyes miss yours by an inch. She ignores you and stands, a wise expression crossing her.

Her gentle mouth opens, and she starts to speak in demonic tongues.

Her eyes open wider, and her voice gets louder; until the final word departs her lips.

“Lucifer!”

Exclaimed, with her last breath.

The scene starts to shift, strangely, as she turns into a white light that appears, bridging a gap between this world and another. Your focus zooms around her path, and you feel infinite as you're taken away.

White is becoming you, but suddenly the woman falters, and all fades to black.

You have eyes on a scene that plays lucidly up ahead, casting light and a shadow over the fallen woman.

You see a buggy that speeds across sand, and at the wheel is a soldier, equipped with full sepia armour and headgear. The holes over his eyes are topped with small lenses, and the low of his mask is narrow and tightened.

His foot hits the brakes to a flair shot high a mile in front. The buggy skids, leaving waves of sand in it's wake.

“Tan!.."
He says with electronic interference in his voice, as the vehicle comes to a halt. He watches red drop as he slams the acceleration.

He steers sharply, and the vehicle darts off in the opposite direction...

Your view on this event is fleeting to another place. You watch as the woman's clothes wear away until she looks fit for a desert, to which she stands.

Your periphery edges into into a house, and it gets darker. You are pulled up stairs, and taken to a second floor – your gaze barely dodging hers as she turns.

She looks at you, and as you look back, the scene and her are one...

From the shadows, an arm is raised. It pushes around her neck, to which a face and another arm are half-lit.

There is sudden tension, and the girl lets out a tearful sound as the shade grasps her mouth.

Her captor looks up, directly into your eyes, before he pulls her into the dark, and you lose sight of the situation.

“Huh?..”
You exhale in the pitch black.

Have decided to re-write my story completely...

Chapter 1

You're waking up to the sound of gulls that squawk up above, in a sky your eyes conceal.

A cool breeze passes you and highlights your sprinkled wet front-half.

Your head is as light as a feather, and it feels like your floating on water.

“This is the moment that you've all been waiting for!”
A loud male voice is broadcast over speakers some distance ahead, as thousands of people cheer.

Your eyes glint open to blue and yellow, slowly seizing the glare of daylight.

The colours are put in their places, into a sky that shimmers and onto the brilliant Sun that rules there; and they put you in your place, as the world is cast in your view.

You're afloat in an ocean, not so far from land.

You push down your legs to meet sand, splashing in the clear water that you look across, the way that the cheers came from.

You look over the tops of tropic wilds, and small, wood shacks, to a larger-than-life stadium. A sandy beach that's a swim away welcomes you.

A galore of strange, colourful orbs, race to the sky from the open roof of the arena. At heights, they burst like bubbles, into short-lived, swirls.

You look down at your reflection to your hazel eyes, adorned with palpitations that look like black branches. Your hair is short black, with a messed-up fringe. Your stern nose is barely broken, and your strawberry lips are apart, as you take in this moment.

You pull your hands above the surface. Your palms are soft and pale, and the tips of your fingers are pink and rounded from nails chewed away. You look at your thin, toned forearms; and at the blueish veins that run like rivers across your skin.
