if a normal monsters gave 1% experience, you would get 1% experience. if a ep gave 2% experience, you would still only get 1% experience. With the cap lifted you can now get 2% from the ep that was capped before. They always gave the same experience but they were capped.

but that was never the case, some ep can give up to 5% exp.
With your logic there the monsters would be able to give you 2% each and not just 1.
ep's would be able to give 10% exp.

I don't know what the numbers there are for experience of monsters... I am explaining a cap to you...
And exp for skilling is capped at 1%, maximum for last event was 10%, so maybe we can achieve 20% from one item if we do a max tier

After muting a level 30 item, i got 17% character exp towards the next level. Just from one item. So that is the result of the 10x bonus.

So if someone is soloing, find an EP and attack it to see if you gain above 10 prof points. That will tell us for sure.

Actually, I believe Hayden is right on the exp cap, because getting nearly 20% char exp for one item seems rather excessive. This event would let muters do a climb in a realistic manner for the time invested (kind of like the old days before catas).

no prof is not experience, if an ep can give 5% normally should check to see if it can give 10%

the 17% char exp from a skillable is a great example of what i said tho

You were talking about monster caps and not skilling cap, which is what i said from the beginning




This was the last event, but if you're refering to the one there it was PROF cap it was upped with 50% and that was called prof cap and not exp cap.

This pretty much confirms what i thought, if u get that much exp from one skill that's awesome, maybe you could do some mq's only from skilling this event since it's a week long.

my point is that it doesn't specify monsters or skillables which means it should be both. monsters have an exp cap
the very first skilling exp event we had was 10x exp for skilling, it was capped at 10% of a level. dion just proved that double the cap is now possible of 20%

Doubled Experience Cap

exactly what does this mean

We believe it's the max cap you can gain from a SKILL (mute/glyph etc)
Normally u get ~1% xp from 1 mute, with this event Dion just gained 17% from one

Probably just really unlucky but... I keep getting EPs every few minutes. Wondering if the old Event is still switched on.

And yes I do mean unlucky. I've given up on finding anything decent and these stupid EPs are slowing my climb down

Edit: actually come to think of it I havent hit a spin today yet either.
