Seems like fishing xp was reduced by 85.19% as well... I've never gotten so many 1 and 2 xp gains...

So use a higher level rod and you'll be able to do higher tier fish and get the same amount of xp !

I'm fishing 2 levels higher than 'suggested' already (but only to catch tier 3) I've never noticed increased xp from fishing higher levels... can someone confirm more xp?

nope. im fishing lvl 21 fish with 16 profs. Still low profs gain. But since i do not fail many and its quite fast to fish it evens the loss out i think. I i can catch bass instead of trouts max

every % faster skilling event always gives less profs , but you can succeed more or harder items

prof works as the longer time you spend during that skilling you're doing the more prof
that's why normally these events are bad for prof, but for fishing it's awesome since u can jump up alot of lvls and still catch easy fish and also stack up some nicer stuff faster

i am level 18 in fishing and can do lvl 30 fishies

That`s exactly what I`m trying to say!

If you`re rank 4 using a tier II fishing rod switch to rank 10 fish and use a tier IV fishing rod. It`ll feel like it`s normal again, you`ll get the same amount of prof as before but with 1-2 tier higher fish being caught.
