Looking for some Bible verses that talk about God working with tools that we might not expect (e.x. using a former persecutor of the Jews to spread the Word). Anything you can share would be much appreciated :)

I can't remember verses but there's the story of the prostitute Rahab helping the spies in the book of Joshua
Also the story of Balaam and the Donkey

Do those count?
