nothing, just wondering why the uk government focuses on lgbt issues while ignoring the more pertinent issues of crime in general
see the australian travel advisory in comparison http://smartraveller.gov.au/countries/united_states_of_america

"The United States has more violent crime than Australia, although it rarely involves tourists. Mass shootings continue to occur in public places in the US."

Because this is an excerpt from the government advice to LGBT travellers not to the public in general.

K. Nice to know you think that.

Funny though when I just posted in another thread about your countrymen leaving a guy unconscious to die in the middle of the road.

Sounds like I'll be doing a little research before the next time I go to Chicago. Wouldn't want to go to the area that happened in.

Messed up shit.

If you research hard enough, you'll come to the conclusion that the best course of action is NOT going to Chicago. Don't let there be a next time.

It's the airport we land in to go to Wisconsin. Cheaper to Chicago and then family picks us up.

You are more likely to die in the car driving to the airport than you are from crime in the US.

Just useless stuff. The sky isn't falling. Things have never been better. Especially if you are white and I'm loving it.

If your radar doesn't go off a little bit when you're in a poor neighborhood filled with black people who don't radiate acceptance of outsiders, you deserve to get sucker punched.

It's human instinct... I don't have to research the ghettos of England to know when I'm in a dangerous area.

I remember when I had a night job delivering flyers/business cards... the gas station with bullet proof glass and a group of thugs out front sort of gave it away that I was in a bad neighborhood. Downtown Baltimore and DC at night are good times.

actually the australian travel advisory mentions dengue fever:

"The ‘Big Island’ of Hawaii is experiencing an increase in dengue fever. Local authorities have implemented measures to prevent an outbreak however you should take extra precautions against being bitten by mosquitoes."

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/usa/local-laws-and-customs

"The US is an extremely diverse society and attitudes towards LGBT people differ hugely across the country. LGBT travellers may be affected by legislation passed recently in the states of North Carolina and Mississippi. Before travelling please read our general travel advice for the LGBT community. You can find more detail on LGBT issues in the US on the website of the Human Rights Campaign."

does this constitute interference?
should north carolina and mississippi formally complain?
will uk citizens potentially affected heed those warnings?
