Cause we're fucking broke.

That just isn't true. There is more money in American savings than ever before. Just not for 99% of us. Because we are playing by rules they make up.

We have everything we need to do this but profit motive?
We are weak because of this shitty ethic.

I'm talking about the government, not the people. If we had a federal government without a massive deficit maybe we could tackle these serious problems quickly.

Don't blame the group supplying most of the tax dollars for the government's inability to responsibly handle those tax dollars.

Pretty sure sales and consumption taxes dwarf income taxes but I could be wrong, and poor people pay much more for things.

The deficit wouldn't be so massive without so many tax cheats. And again, they're making the rules that say they are rich and everybody is poor and some people get dirty water and legionaires disease but if they're poor nobody will bother with it cuz that would be class warfare.

You are a co-conspirator.

Nah, I'm in favor of reforming the tax code so that Mitt Romney doesn't pay under 15%. In turn, the federal government should manage its shit better so we can handle somewhat unforeseen problems.

It's also disingenuous to call rich people who pay the least amount of taxes possible tax cheats. Let's attack the system, not the people who use the system for their benefit.

You know there is a party that keeps holding America back economically socially and in terms of health. The last successful president you had resigned in disgrace.

/don't blame the people who write the laws when the laws disproportionally favor them? Yeah right.

I don't see Obama rushing to simplify the tax code, and I don't think Hillary will do it either. It's a tremendously tough thing to accomplish politically.

Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and Mitt Romney don't write the laws.

The situation in Flint is so saddening.

Why hasn't Obama just sent the National Guard to replace the piping whilst simultaneously prosecuting those responsible?

From what I've seen it looks like a national emergency to me.

Obama doesn't control the National Guard, the governors do. Soldiers =/= pipelayers.

Ever seen our savings and GDP? Holy cow. Hundreds of trillions.

Collectively a small proportion of what we have.

Not real small, a problem yes, the sky isn't falling though lol.

Also, in debt to who and why? Chinese government who knows USD is more reliable than their currency?

The only reason we don't hold other currencies through credit is because it is a bad investment.
