I really don't think Ryan wants it. I think he realizes that swooping in and earning the nomination from a contested convention will look really bad for him and the GOP.

So I think his plan is to stay out of this GOP fiasco and throw his hat into the ring in 2020. He will likely be the favorite heading into the race.

With a contested convention, I think the GOP goes with someone who is still currently in the race - probably Cruz or Kasich. I don't think they will go with Romney or Ryan.

They can't just pick who they want, resolution will come at the end of conflict.

Better question is who will win Trump or Clinton
