After his latest match, Djokovic now has won 82.81% of his games played (708 out of 855). That's the all time best, barely edging Björn Borg, who has held the record for decades (609 out of 736) with 82.74%
We all look at Djokovic, Federer, Nadal, Sampras and whatnot and think of how great they are, possibly the greatest, but still it took this long (and many more matches) until someone broke that record.

That is really impressive. Haven't followed tennis but it seems Djokovic is the new top kid on the block.

what makes Djokovic great is not just his super human ability to play but his character. irl he is super nice unlike nadal or any of the top 10 players

what makes him great is mostly his agility and his high percentage of getting the balls back in

he has an outstanding return, but other than that nothing too outstanding

i dont like watching his matches too much, its often boring to follow 30+ ball rallies

i admire his agility and his stamina, but from a entertaining point of view (or maybe even a technical view) he is not that interesting

but it is interesting where this sport will develop, because the newcomers dont really follow his style, which i really enjoy

tl;dr: less djokovic, murray, nishikori, berdych - more federer, thiem, wawrinka, dimitrov

risk more :)

thats just my point of view

I dont know ...he is still not as fun as some other players to watch though because he just plays from the baseline...i think a player lile nadal is much more exciting and would probably beat nole in his prime...no disrespect to the current #1 though

what makes nadal and/or federer bad people off the court? federer seems like the nicest dude ever

i dont mind djokovic's play style, hes got a great foundation in something thats helped him rise to the top; defense and returns.

i just hate his demeanor on the court. always screaming at himself, throwing fits like a child
