Horizon: Zero Dawn is supposed to be a big exclusive for Sony and its not on the pre-orders. But they are new IP's that no one wants to invest their money into without seeing the actual game released and reviews and friends playing it etc etc.

they are also not 3 weeks from release, im sure theyll chart better then quantum break

And their has been a lot of new IP's that have managed to do worse. The majority of new IP's that do really well are shooters. Destiny,Titanfall,The Division(classified as an rpg but its still a shooter in many ways).

The majority of pre-orders come in the last 3 weeks or so of games.Id expect Quantum Break to sell 300k or so first week and get to a million lifetime.Which would outsell both Ratchet and Clank and MLB overall.

Its an action adventure game. Just because a game has a gun in it doesn't mean its a shooter lol. And the games I was referring to are mostly known as being a multiplayer shooter.Generally shooters that don't have multiplayer don't sell that well compared to a multiplayer focused shooter

idk the order managed to get decent pre-orders and it had bad news following its launch and endded being lack luster, also quantum break confirmed 720p on xb1 :p

What does bad news following launch and being lackluster have to do with pre-orders?Thats precisely why most people don't pre order new IP's cause you have no idea if they will be good or not. At least with a sequel you have a somewhat decent idea of what your getting. And yes The Order did well sales wise. I don't know why people thing if a game doesn't sell 5 million copies its a failure. The Order was a success for sales but a failure in terms of being a crappy ass game. Exhibit A as to why graphics don't mean shit

I could care less if a game is 720 or 1080 or 18,000. I play a game for the story and gameplay.I could care less if my version has 1 less pixel then the playstations version.Playstation is making their first big mistake of this generation by going so heavy on the VR stuff. While it is cool its a niche thing. Its the exact same mistake Xbox did last gen when they went all in on the Kinect. Kinect served its purpose for kids games and workout stuff but they went over the top and stopped focusing on real games for a bit and that hurt them in the long run.
