The most basic reason, He is the creator of everything. Without Him, I wouldn't exist. Through every moment of suffering, every trial and tribulation, that truth remains. He created me for a purpose, and I'm among His elect. There's not a greater lottery you could win.

So did he create you to hurl out pure insults without malice too? You didn't win the lottery, you have much more work to do yet. Being christian is a journey, not a gift you deserve.
