Should I even bother catching up? 4 episodes behind. Sounds like it ended how season 2 started, like shit.

The final 2 episodes are a noticeable improvement over the middle of the season. Gus being in S3 has been confirmed.

That being said, if S3 isn't going to be any better than S2, there might not ultimately be any point in catching up at all.

Im guessing the final 2 are heavily Mike related? Haha. Saul's buildup has been so disappointing I stopped bothering for awhile.

Finale started off really strong... showing at least one of the reasons why Chuck has a sort of hatred for Saul. I love grouping the arms dealer from BB with Mike. I actually did like the cryptic note(I was expecting Mike to shoot Hector and wounding him to the point that he'll be in the wheelchair), but the ending blew hard. I don't like the big brother pursuing legal action against the little brother angle. Saul's story is boring as hell and Mike's story is awesome.

I'll keep watching of course, but I'm really disappointed so far in the show. I know it will never live up to Breaking Bad... the story line needs to pick up more though.

This Saul vs Chuck stuff has been drawn out for too long. It's an interesting view into his personal life but it's also been one of the main storylines, if not THE main storyline for almost two seasons.

It's not that interesting IMO, and way too much time has been spent on Chuck's electro-phobia.

Although well-acted and well-produced, it's extremely slow. Season 2 was supposed to "pick up" but it was about the same as 1. This article further explains my gripes:

It seems like not much happens, but it still takes a long time. Mike's storyline offers a lot more in a lot less time.

It's definitely not a bad show but I wasn't expecting it to be a lawyer show, I was expecting more of a crime show. If it doesn't transition more in season 3 then I don't know how much longer I'll watch.
