This Saul vs Chuck stuff has been drawn out for too long. It's an interesting view into his personal life but it's also been one of the main storylines, if not THE main storyline for almost two seasons.
It's not that interesting IMO, and way too much time has been spent on Chuck's electro-phobia.
Although well-acted and well-produced, it's extremely slow. Season 2 was supposed to "pick up" but it was about the same as 1. This article further explains my gripes:
http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/reviews/in-which-i-dare-to-suggest-that-better-call-saul-is-a-bad-show-a6878151.htmlIt seems like not much happens, but it still takes a long time. Mike's storyline offers a lot more in a lot less time.
It's definitely not a bad show but I wasn't expecting it to be a lawyer show, I was expecting more of a crime show. If it doesn't transition more in season 3 then I don't know how much longer I'll watch.
