But if you know any voters in Iowa please encourage them to vote for Bernie Sanders!

I wouldn't say that. If Sanders doesn't win Iowa, he's pretty much cooked. It's a must win for him.

Why on earth would i encourage them to vote for someone who will work to tank the economy with backwards 'economic' policies and reduce their liberty?
Serious question.

...neither Sanders nor Clinton needs to win Iowa . It's just too close a contest to matter .

Iowa is not "meaningless".
It sets the tone for future states, and many good little lemmings often follow along and consider a candidate electable and consolidate behind the perceived frontrunner.
We saw the same thing last time w/ The Romney Iowa fiasco.
Very important state for sanders if he wants to seriously contend.

I disagree on the bold. Clinton doesn't need Iowa, but Sanders does. Democrats in the state are white and very liberal. If he can't win here he can't win anywhere.

Well you're right that it's not necessary to win the nomination. However, if Sanders can't win the ultra white Iowa....well, the writing is on the wall. I think for Sanders, his path to victory is to do well in caucus states and the Midwest, Northeast, and Rust Belt areas.

...what Sanders loses in black votes he will make up in stolen female votes from Hillary . In the end the winner of the Democratic nomination will be decided by women voters .
