He's right, but needs to start 60 years ago and extend his timeframe. We've definitely moved right since the trend of loosening campaign donations by corporations was started. Even though the country moved left the political landscape goes the other direction.

There's a few exceptions, like gay marriage, but that doesn't really have anything to do with corporations.
