Fixing illegal immigration, negotiating better foreign trade agreements that are more competitive for the USA and doing something about infrastructure are somewhat appealing too. The authoritative streak is a major turnoff.
He's not actually going to sit the debate out, this is a tactic to try to enforce more fairness in the debate since Megyn Kelly has been less than fair to him, and to play the media.
