With tax return around the corner, im going to snag up a d5500 body. Now I thought it would be dumb to get the kit, since I already have the 18-55 kit lens. So I went and snagged the 50mm 1.8 prime yesterday.. So far, I love it. I've barely touched it, but it takes great pics. Here's a pic I just threw together.
