Explain how resurrection works
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Acts 26:23 that the Messiah must suffer and that, as the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.
1 Corinthians 15:3-5 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.
1 Corinthians 15:13-14 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
What the Bible claims is this: we must pay for our sins in blood and death, we all deserve it. Yet God made Christ, who had no sin, to be sin in our place. The Messiah must suffer and be the first to rise from the dead.
It has been passed down from generation to generation, Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. That means that his death was foretold. He was also raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. That means his resurrection was foretold.
If there is no resurrection then not even Christ has been raised and if Christ has not been raised then everything we preach is useless as is our faith. We all just celebrated Easter which is all about this very thing. It is the foundation of which we base our lives on, that Christ died for our sins and he rose from the dead.
That is how the resurrection works. Care to explain Reincarnation now or will somebody else answer in your place like you did with Happypuppy?
