Used to be a rock climbing instructor 6-8 years ago. I'd love to get back into it, but it's expensive. Do you climb on a natural wall when you bolder or is it just an inclined service with holds like in your video?
Really? Wow, that's awesome. I'm very open to learning more. I've just been watching a ton of videos but there aren't too many instructional videos. I've been bouldering indoors at a MetroRock gym here in Everett, MA. That video is just something I came across that I found to be insane. Just wanted to show others out there who don't know much about climbing, how much of a thrill it can be.
There is a Dark Horse competition going on and the championship round will be hosted here in Everett. I plan to go watch. I think Megan Mascarenas will be there.
After a month, going maybe like 7 or 8 times, I've been able to complete some V1 and V2 boulder problems. When I had my month membership, I tried to go as often as I could.. even if it was for 1 hour to get a good forearm burn. I feel my grip strength increase dramatically. I can do 15 solid pull ups now at 185 lbs. I want to continue going but money is a bit of an issue. If I can get them gucci locks, I can keep my membership.. ha!
What were you teaching? How good were you as a climber?
Alex Puccio is a beast.. she is so muscular.
