By what I've read, people get the issue I'm having currently. Wanted to try this out with some friends, so we DL'd it through Steam.
"Disconnected from world" before I even can get into the game after little girl walking with a trumpet.
"Client versions do no match" also after the little girl.
Is this just something that happens often as people put in some Steam forums, or does this stuff go away fairly fast?
