Monk is one of the best solo classes in the game. Double Strike OP.

Second to none! Doublestrike, two hit back, powerstrike :) throw on some ee robes and stat a ton of vit. Plus you can actually hunt for maps since you dont have the TDs to deal with.

IMO: Monk > Ninja

Idk man even with similar gear to your other melee classes. The skills for monk make it by far the best one to solo on. Instead of stat armors go ee padded robes and you're golden. padded robes are to magic def as chains are to physical def. If you can run a pally with a chain you should have no issues with monk in padded robes :)

I feel like there are more melee mobs than caster. I’d say like 60/40

No science behind this... just feel like my padded robes get hit harder than chains even though similar ee & vita

Id say you're probably right about that. I feel like the casters hit harder on chains though. Like caster mobs are more powerful but a little less frequent.
