This is true. And I have no issue whatsoever with it. If everyone had the same tastes in everything, it would be a really boring world. What I don't understand is the constant need of some people to lambaste someone because that person happens to like something that they themselves don't. They invest way too much energy into stuff like this, and it's pointless.

i haven't seen all of Dexter but i really could have gone for a lot more of Breaking Bad!

Breaking Bad just made me want more all the way through even up til the end!

And yet, that's what made it good, they only gave us the story they had, without milking it endlessly. Every filler season they might have added would have made it less kickass.

Can you imagine how good most TV shows would be if there was no pressure from higher up to stretch, milk, or water them down?
