yes, but the chance is pretty small at the moment + you have to invest fg to get yourself going. not possible to play without fg investment.

You cannot ''win'' fg - it does not drop in game, so forget about finding a sweet spot and farming it.

In order to earn fg, you will have to sell items that you find.
This is done through the Market Place in game,
but it's best to use the LS Trading forums to set up any deals you may have in mind

One plays LS to waste fg.

Agreed. Unless you have a large stockpile of FG, funding LS only through playing LS can be a difficult task...if not practically impossible. Some people play other games to help earn their FG which in turn allows you to buy/invest in better gear.
This game is really based on the quality of your gear. Other than that, it's game basics and clicking away with your mouse! Click, click, click!

When HC started, people made it with self-found items. At this time you found better items though. You can make fg selling skillables, but it will take a while before you can buy you some good stuff from selling skillables + few low lvl drops you will find (it is technically possible, but might take years).
