I get deals on xbox live gold like 25$ a year because I have a good friend who works for Microsoft anyway I bought halo 5 and it gave me a 14 day xbox live gold code you can wait until the 16 of next month to use it if you want to get all 4 free games that will come with it pm me because this might get closed first come first served sorry

I believe the Xbox One games operate on the same structure as PS+, if the subscription lapses after the 14 days they will lose this games.

No just access the Plus/Games with Gold games.

It is free to you as long as you are a Plus member. If you let Plus lapse you either have to buy the game or renew Plus. This is not including things you got a discount on because of Plus.
