what if we could have a super telescope between galaxies somewhere in the universe. With this telescope we are going to zoome in our galaxy and then towards our star, in which our planet is ofc ecliptic moving. And in our earth we are going to zoom further on a train, on which two people playing tennis, while driving on a very high speed. Can we follow the tennis ball? Or did u calcualte the moving of the galaxy and the moving of our solarsystem and all the other movings. How fast is this tennis ball?
You could calculate the relative speed of the tennisball which would include all the relative speeds of the solar system/galaxy/other entities and the distortions the information suffered before getting to you.
The question doesn't make sense as from your perception these aren't separate entities, they can only be percieved as separate from the inside. If there is a tennisbball of course.
